I want to stay with run flats due to the fact the wife drives it sometimes, plus just dont' want to have to worry about flats or take plugs etc. etc....with me.
I've started to stay with goodyear but the guy at the local tire store, he's a ricer, is trying to talk me into these.

You might want to read this article click here. Not all of the extended mobility tires are repairable. I would ask the tire dealer what happens if you puncture a tire. I would hate to think that your only recourse for a simple nail is a replacement tire.
I believe only the Michelin and the Goodyear extended mobility tires are repairable. Of course things change as this article was written a few years ago - but it is worth bringing it up before you commit.
