This might have been brought up before so I apologize.
I just installed fluorescent lights in the garage which are hell on imperfections, my car has never been hit or painted, for those that know is it normal to have like weird imperfections in the panels, not orange peel they all seem to have that but I am talking more about funny looking lines web like. I have them on the hood only on the edges at the top of the wheels and I noticed some by the wiper on the driver door window. Just curious, I wish I could post a picture but you can not see it, you can not see outside either, only under the fluorescent lights. It is not the paint it looks like it is in the SMC. But at least I can see what I am doing now.
I have the same thing on some of the edges of the hood, most noticable above the wheels and at the back of the hood. I attest these imperfections to the manufacture and finishing of the hood. I have Black paint and some of the imperfections show up w/white primer. Thought about smoothing them out and repainting the edges, but changed my mind. Plan to get a touch up paint stick and fill in any light marks. I wouldn't be that concerned about it. Just touch up any cosmetic imperfections.
