Well today I installed a C6Z06 shifter along with a set of seat covers. I also lowered the car to what I thought was a fairly minimal amount. Well I guess the directions on CF homepage are for a more aggressive lowering. I cut the bushings which I think now may have been a bad idea. I did notice what appears to be a bit of rubbing. Looks like the car is going back up till I get my bolts and bushings from ZIP.
Enjoy the pics!
Thanks to DaNNNNNy9 for the shifter transaction. I received it very nicely wrapped and just as described. Darren thanks again for the seat covers - they fit and look great! I'd also like to think Crackd03 for helping me with the shifter and for volunteering to help w. my gauges, meth, headers, cam, and heads....
A BIG BIG THANKS TO MY MENTOR dwjz06. Without his input and documented experience I wouldn't have had the courage nor the know how to tackle such a job. Don remains a valuable asset (a fairly local one at that) to Corvette Forum. May he continue to educate and aid those of us new to the Corvette world. Save the wave!

Shifter feels much better in the hand as far as just daily driving around town - throw and overall feel of the shift is more precise. There is still some slushiness in the shifting but I think once I do the antivenom mod I will eliminate most of this.
Overall I'd say its a great mod for the price and the fact that you can easily do it in your driveway with nothing more than a few trx bits and skinny fingers.
I was wondering if the c6 z shifter makes the car feel like the c6 z. I recently drove one and loved the feel of the shifter way better then my hurst that is in it.

Just FWIW, the Antivenom mod won't change any of the imprecision, or "Slushiness" of the shifter. It merely reduces the resistance of the detent when you move the shifter through the neutral gate. In other words, the "notchiness". In my car, it made no difference, but the C6Z shifter was a big improvement regardless.

I guess I used slushiness when I should have said notchiness
I just need to find someone local that can spend some time with my while I have the car on the lift.
I'll get some more of the seats in the AM. I am still a little on the fence about the seats. Between the silver car, the silver seats and the chrome wheels I need some red to really break it up and set it off.
Maybe I'll look for someone with red ones that willing to swap for silver
