Default Somebody help out on this

As some of you know, I put 06 Z06 wheels on my car. And of course they stick out a little. I am wondering if anybody has bought the splash guards on EBAY that are molded and painted the color of you car?? For the front and rears they are $120. I am just trying to keep the rocks from getting to my car. I think they are carried by TOMZ WHEELS. Please let me know.

has anybody at all seen these???? They are listed on EBAY under corvette then go to exterior and you will see them. They look like little mud flaps, but they are molded and painted to your car. PLEASE HELP BEFORE I GET RID OF MY WHEELS.

I have Z06 wheels on my C5 and I don't see any increased wear or abrasion in that area. Of course it's only been five years. In other words I'm not adding any mudflaps. I love the way the wheels fill out the wheel wells. Stock C5s just don't look right to me now.

On my Jeep, they are called mud flaps. Who came up with the name splash guards?
I'm sure your new wheels look great. Keep the clean lines.

You could always get some Yosemite Sam "Back Off" mudflaps!

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I have never seen anyone with the splash guards you are referring to.

I've used the ones made by Altec. They take some sanding/trimming to get them to fit perfectly but, they work great in the end.

I have since swapped the rears for the C6 Z06 guards which are much more factory looking in my opinion. But, these take even more time and effort in trimming/sanding deapartment to get them to fit nice.

I have them on my '99 and love them. Mine came from Eckler's.

Those don't work for me. You can find clear plastic film to put over the paint in the areas of concern which would be invisible and not allow paint wear.
