Leaky Butt
Well, I pulled the 01 with 15500 out of the garage today and noticed 3 drops where her @SS sits. I must be entering the dreaded leaky butt problem. I had it on my 00 and it took them twice to get it fixed. The first GM fix was the cheap one, they knew it wouldn't work, but had to do it that way. Two weeks later they pulled it apart and fixed it right.
My best guess, is my GMPP extended should cover it. Now I can say it was worth getting it.
I'll have to make an appointment and get er done.

i got a funny story, i had my rear and trans replaced at the same time without leak issues. a month later my rear was leaking. i was a little pissed. i wiped off all the gunk that had accumulated along with all the fluid, drove for about 10 miles and came back to check it out. come to find out it was the damn filler plug not being tightened up enough. cheap fix

Well, I took it in today to the Chevy shop and they said it needed a new rear cover. Hum, looks like they are going to need some lessons. But since it's under warrenty, I'll let them throw some parts at it.
