Default New Codes, Need Help

The other day when i had my car out I made a quick full blast pass and when i came to a stop my check engine was flashing. The car felt ok so i kept going. I stoped the car for a while and when i tried to start it up it would crank for a couple of seconds but not start. It did that 2 or 3 times throughout the day but it would always start after a couple of tries. I pulled the codes today and only one code came up u1096H it says loss of communication with IPC. The car starts and runs fine now. What would cause that u1096 code?

Found this in a search and since it is an history code I would just reset and see if comes back.

Condition/Concern:
DTCs U1016, U1064 and U1096 may be present when scrolling through the onboard diagnostics via the instrument cluster Driver Information Center (DIC).

Recommendation/Instructions:
This is a normal software function as long as the DTCs have a history status upon ignition cycling. No repair attempts should be made.
