Default 2001 Without Oil Cosumption Issues

HI there,
I would like to hear from the lucky 01 vette 6spd.owners who are not having oil consumption problems. What type of driving do you do? date of mfg.(on the drivers door) Brand of oil & weight used & what your oil change interval is? If the rings were changed to correct excessive oil consumption & what the mileage was.My 01 vette was mfg.in 06/01
Thanks a lot.

01 Z06 used mainly for the track. I run 10/30 Mobil 1 and the oil gets changed every 3,000. As far as I know it has the original rings.

I have an '01. 48K on odometer. It uses about a quart between oil changes. This includes spirited driving about 50% of the time; rush hour traffic the rest. Oh, by the way, it is always HOT here. Oil consumption not a problem.

Same as others about a quart over an oil life cycle. I change it at about 20% remaining. Mobil 1 5-30. Average stinkin' commute traffic type driving and as much spirited driving as I can get in. No it is pristine original from the factory. 03/01

I don't baby the car, but I don't have my foot in it all the time either. I use Mobile One 5w30 and change the oil every spring and fall. No oil issues here. I have a lot of performance mods but the block is stock. I purchased it new in Sept. 2000.

01' born 8/00 all original even the paint with 46k on the clock and the last oil change I didn't use any real measureable oil. I'm using mobil 1 10w40 in the summer as day time temps close to 100 or more every day. I change it at about 3,000 miles.

Mine was born on 5/8/01, and has never had a consumption problem.

I get about 10k miles out of a (once a year) oil change following the oil life % feature, and typically only need to add 1 qt in between. Still using Mobil 5w-30 and all street driving, the majority of mileage is on long highway trips though.

Some might be shocked by that infrequency of oil change, but with 50k on the clock, I had the motor apart this past winter for heads/cam, everything looked great, very clean, no signs of any sludge or wear on anything. Oil pressure is just as strong as the day I got it.

2001 mn6. I drive moderately sometimes jump on it a little. I use 1 qt. for every 5000 miles. Mobile one extended 5w30. Supposed to be good for 15,000 miles but I change after 3-5. My vin number is a little over 10,000.
NO PROBLEMS!!

Build date Dec 2001. No oil issues. I go by the oil change feature on the DIC. The oil is changed at 15 to 25% oil life remaining. The car is not a daily driver and spirited driving is about 50% of the time. There are 27k miles. Mobil One 5w30 is used at oil changes.

'01 Vert Born Aug 31 2000.
104,400 miles
Using Pennzoil Platinum 5W30
4,669 miles since last oil change.
Dipstick is still at max fill mark with no top-up.

Since the last oil change I have run 17 Auto-X events (34 runs) since the last oil change.

I will be changing the oil in the next couple weeks as I hit my 5,000 mile oil change interval.

According to GM service records the rings have not been changed.
