I'm lowering the front, what does everyone do about the stock air dam? Remove it, trim it? Will the car overheat without it?
Or do you just let it drag until it's not in the way anymore???

Since lowering the air dam has taken on a dual role. Not only does it direct air to the radiator, it also sounds the alarm when the ground is getting too close to the chin. Leave it on and listen for the "alarm."
It's spring loaded and knows when to move out of the way... although the two rubber side pieces are scrape to fit...
BTW, just be careful if you try to clean it up by hand after a little scrape fitting, since the last time I pulled a piece off I drug my knuckles across the ground and took off a pound of flesh for the automotive gods...
If you remove the air dam you WON'T overheat. I ran without one for a year. Temps didn't seem to change much if any. I recently put it back on and my air conditioner seems to work better but my coolant temp hasn't changed.
