Original measurements were not equal. Passenger side rear higher than driver's side rear by an 8'th inch. Opposite was true in the front I had 2 inches of rake. Sounds excessive
Did the rears first. Went well, ran the bolts down till the last thread was even with the top of the bolt on both sides.
On the front I decided to run the bolt all the way also. I got 7 full turns on the driver's side before it refused to turn anymore. Went over to the passenger side and only got close to 5 turns Factory setting off by more than two full turns?
Oh well. they are both bottomed out as far as I can tell. Slapped everything back together. Definately lower now and it looks good.
Haven't done a settling run yet. Roads are full of puddles and I polished my wheels while I had them off. I am thinking I might end up having to run the driver's side up a couple threads after a cruise? I'll get some measurements and a pic after the roads dry.
Took it for a run. Measured 1/2" drop in the front and 1" in the rear afterwards. Fronts are within 1/8" of each other same as before. Rake is down to 1".
Passenger rear was a half inch higher than driver rear so I packed up a hefty neighbor and hit some lumpy roads. That dropped the passenger side another quarter inch.
Going to run it as is till next weekend and see if it settles more in the right places before wrenching again. Then get an alignment next week.
Thanks, just got the wheels last week. I like them too but they didn't look so hot to me with the body all jacked up.
I installed Koni FSD shocks the week before I got the wheels and I'd have to say even lowered it still rides smoother than the stock shocks ever dreamed of.

Big difference
i dont know , but a c5 z06 is just about the nicest looking car. I think it easily compares to the new one, and looks somehow a little meaner... guess its just me..
