While I do like black rims on some colors - MY for example - I think on a black car it is a bit too much... My personal opinion is that chrome would look better.

Wheels can really make or break the look of your car. You need to know what type of look you are going with before you can answer that question. To me black wheels look great, if you are going for the race/ black out look. But chrome wheels are what turns heads when you drive by...BLING BLING.... i prefer chrome, but you could actually just go to one of the rent to own wheel and tire places and rent them for a month or so apiece, so you can actually see them on your vette. There are no credit checks or contracts..but they do hate returns, don't tell them what you are planning...lol. They will just end up selling them to someone else at a reduced price.

It depends on the wheel. Like the Z06 replicas in black with the polished lip look great on a black car. Others I think don't looks so great in black. I personally think most rims look good in black on a black car but that's not to say the chrome doesn't look amazing at times too.
