can barely read digital display?

Default can barely read digital display?

the led on my 98 is barely visible. The one that shows the a/c stuff. Ive tried the dim switch but doesn't change? Pls advise.

There are probably multiple leds inside, usually they don't burn out, but something that controls them may have. Do you have a buddy that can swap hvacs with you to see if the problem is there?

This is the thread for repair instructions. I have done 3 of them. About 1 to 1-1/2 hour job the first time.

Do a thread search as this has been discussed here many times. It's actually bad solder joints. My 00 had the same problem. Good luck.
