It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you of my sisters passing on Wednesday July 18 2007, in Bristol, England after a long battle with breast cancer. My sister has always been a great source of inspiration to me and I have always admired her determination, spirit and great sense of adventure. Because of her, coolcarscruising4cancer was born and will live as a testament to my love and admiration of my big sister. After being diagnosed in 2001 Jackie continue despite all odds to see as much of the world as possible, while continuing to teach and live in Dubai United Arab Emirates. A published author and world traveler she leaves behind her Husband Steve Hill, parents Terry and Brenda and her brother Ian and I. A funeral will be held in Bristol and a celebration of her life will follow in Calgary at a date to be announced.

We lost our daughter in 1989 at age 14 to Hodgkins Disease and just lost my brother in law last week with a brain tumor..... My heart goes out to you and your family! Cancer is a terrible disease. Keep your chin up and keep the faith! In our prayers in Oklahoma!
