There is a small part that I just discovered missing. It is an interior trim piece. It snaps in behind the door handle (passenger side) to hide the adjustment screws in the door. Can you point me in the right direction.

Should be able to get it at the Chevy Dealer, shouldn't cost too much, $10.00 or so .... ( read at least $25.00 )

Both of mine were missing when I purchased my car. Went to the local dealership, had to order them. Took a couple of days, can't remember how much they were. Sorry.

I talked with "Just Corvettes" and they recently had a run on "door handle bezel pieces" they said there may be a "bezel thief" on the loose..........I talked to the dealer, they also were out, but to order is $17.00 plus tax and shipping.

Did you try gmpartshouse.com?

All you need to know is the part number.

Hello from Chicago. Saw your post on the door handle bezel. These parts can be found on E-bay for $4-5 each and a little shipping. I had to replace one and told the dealer to take a hike after hearing his price. They are out there, just look.

You want a DOOR PANEL ACCESS COVER PLUG

Look at Corvette Central or Eckler's. I just got 2 at Eckler's, because I just happened to be in Cocoa Beach last week. They were $5 each.
I'm sure most parts houses have them, and they probably are all within a few cents on price.

The online catalogs show photos.

Corvette Central part number 485013

Eckler's part number 44929

They are easily lost because folks getting in the car tend to drag their fingernails along the door panel when they grab the handle. The nail catches the cover and pops it loose. It's happened to me several times, but usually the person recognizes they did it and hand it to me to replace. If they don't notice it will either fall to the ground and be lost, or fall into the car and you'll find it under the seat. Go ahead and buy at least 2, because you'll eventually need them...

I just sat down from a trip to the dealership and picked up three at $3.49/piece. They are notorious for popping out without you noticing them until it is too late.
