I recently ordered a Borla Stinger system with the Quad oval tips. unfortunately they are out of stock and it may be 2-3 weeks. they have the quad round tips in stock. I've always thought that the quad ovals look better on a C5, so I think I'm just going to wait it out. but just in case, can owners post up some pictures of the tips of the borla stinger exhaust with the quad ovals or quad round tips? From the pics online its hard to tell the difference between the oval and round tips, so it would be nice to have some better views of it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to wait for the ovals, I just want to make sure

Here's my Borla Stingers ovals. They almost look round in person, but the oval shape is there.

wow, those look perfectly round to me. not at all what I was expecting from the oval tips. does anyone have a pic of the round tips to compare? are you sure those are the ovals and they weren't mislabeled or anything? I'm after borlas for the sound mostly so its not the end of the world if they look more round than oval, but I think the ovals would look better.

sneakelman, I think you have the quad round tips on your car. did you buy them new or used? I wonder if they were mislabeled for some reason. unless that pic is distorted my cheesy attempt to put a ruler up to my computer screen (haha) shows that those tips are perfectly rounded. any others with quad ovals to compare?

Now I feel totally stupid. I got to looking at the pic, and your reply, so I went out with a ruler and a compass. They are totally round! :bb
They were on the car when I bought it. I've always looked at them from the top view and they sure as he** look oval shape looking down from the top. But the compass doesn't lie.
Anyway, you can't go wrong with the sound. It's awesome!

I think the oval tips work better with the car, especially since they match the shape of the tail lights. its going to look awesome, I can't wait for the fed ex guy to come!
