Default Help!!! HID Kit not working

Hi all,

I initially posted a question here regarding the wiring for the plug and play kit...

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...post1561132320

Now, I have it installed and wired correctly and these things won't fire up

I have changed out the headlight fuses from 10 to 20 as recommended and nothing. Lights won't come on or go up and down. Before I give up and go back to stock and ship these things back can anyone chime in about how to troubleshoot this? BTW this install is going on a 2000 vette.

Thanks

If the lights are opening you have a power issue. Double check your fiuses.

I got the kit from ntrubl and no issues. Check the main plug I believe you have to hook it up reversed...

Power to car seems fine (was working ok before I installed these lights, but now headlights won't come on, go up or down) and 20 amp fuses are in for the 10 amps.

Not sure what you mean by reversed. I have the factory harness going to open plug on power stabilizer and the HID going to the red/black plugs on other wire coming from the same stabilizer...is there another way I should be doing this?

reverse the blue and black wire in the black plug and then plug them back into your factory harness.

So I need to splice and reverse blue/black wires on the left side (as shown in the pic above) and leave as is on the other side (with yellow connector) (or reverse other end also) and plug back into factory harness?

Just want to be clear this is the solution because if I do this there is no returning the kit.

Thanks

dont splice the wires, just unplug them from the little black connector and re-plug them back into it.

don't touch the other end of the same wire.

the blue and black wires will have stiff spade connectors on the end so when you pull them out, you can shove them into the end of the factory harness to temporaraly see if the lights light up when activated before you push them back into the black connector.
