My passenger window tore up yesterday....just quit working out of the blue....the door makes a little clicking sound when you press the up/down button...haven't checked to door codes yet...just wondering how much of a pain it is to pull the door apart??????????
With engine running a little above idle, hold window switch door and pound with your fist just to the side of the speaker cover about mid way down. I bet the window will work again. Been there done that Once it works again. just use it a few times a week.
Go to the sticky above and read about an electronic fix as well.
It is not to hard to pull off door panel following the directions. Take it easy when pulling the interior peice off the metal door frame. There are little platic push pins that need to be pryed out. Try to apply force near to where each pin is at and you should have no problems.
If you hear a clicking when the window button is pressed, it is likely the relay in the door control module has failed. If you have some comfort level with a soldering iron and desolder/ soldering parts, this is not a hard fix. Several threads on the topic. It is possible it is something else, but this appears to be more common ( especially since you are hearing clicking ).
