I've been looking for any info on how to fix a leaky passenger window. I found after coming back from EG's in heavy rain that my passenger window leaks toward the rear of the window. The water seems to be coming from the last (rear) hole in the weather stripping.
Do I just need to get some of this stuff (GM Weather Strip Adhesive Gel-Black 2 fl. oz tube, P/N 12345096) to help seal it?
I had the same problems with mine. It turns out that I accidently pinched the weatherstriping in the rear corners the last time I put the roof back on. Thankfully, It wasn't like that long enough to permanently deform the weatherstriping.
It's a coupe, looks to me like it's the weather stripping on the top that is leaking...
If you look at the weatherstripping along the side of the top you will see there are several little holes in it (inside the car next to the window) the water was coming out of the rear hole. As long as I was moving at a decent clip it would not leak.
Well I think I found the issue... anyone know where I can get some new weather stripping? Looking for the rear piece, the one that runs vertically up and down on the rear post.
