HELP! $2.00 plastic part needed!
HELP! HELP! My wonderful painter has lost a small plastic part that I need for the under hood battery area.
The part is the little angled plastic cover that is attached to the fuse box cover. The little cover, covers the battery jumper post right next to the fuse box. Chevy says you can't buy just the part itself?? If any one has one or knows where I can look to get this little cover, I need your help here. Thanks in advance...ZO6Bill

Corvette Salvage
Do you have any salvage yards that specialize in corvettes, they might be able to help you. There is one where I am, it started as corvette salvage, but now it is a full Corvette Shop, as well as salvage, it would not hurt to call them.........hopefully the might be able to help.

maybe you will get lucky and its stuck in the area just below its spot. i have dropped several things in that general area and they seem to get hung up down there every time before hitting the ground. the last one i dropped was the bolt to the passenger side air tube. it made it all the way to the top of the lower control arm before getting lodged and stuck. get a flash light and look real good. worth a try.

Thanks folks, I took the parts to the paint shop to get repainted.
I got all but that little cover back, and they are still looking for it!
Robertelarkin, Thanks, I'll call Just Corvettes later today.
The Chevy dealers say it's a piece of a complete assembley and that unit costs around $250 depending on any discount one can get.
