I have a question concering front tire size and handling. I want to get new wheels and tires for the Z. I will be getting the 505a and Invo tires.
Question: What front size tire are most guys running with aftermarket wheels?
The Invo comes in a 285 and 255 application. Do you think I will feel the car
tracking/pulling from road imperfections more with the 285 up front?

For the front of the Z, I would get either the stock 265 or bump up to a 275. Not sure if you will have any problems (like rubbing) with the 285 up front or not.
Are you running 19's all around? Most run 275/30/19 and 305/30/19 rears. You might want to rethink your tire brand choice as not all manufactures offer the same sizes. This is why I stuck with the Michelin PS2.
I went with a 285/30 on a 19x10 front.......no issues.
Did you notice any difference in how the car tracked on uneven roads?
I have a Yukon with 305/15/22s and it will pull from left to right on uneven surfaces. It is much more noticeable with the larger tires. I realize that there is a major difference in the suspension of the two vehicles.
I am very impressed with the technology that went into the Invos. Also, they are not the same ole tire we all have grown accustom to.
Though the size of the tire certainly affects its tendency to tramline (or follow the ruts in the pavement), the shape of the sidewall where it meets the tread is much more the determining factor..........the more square or sharp the edge (where the sidewall meets the tread), the more it will tramline.
What you are feeling when this happens is the sidewall "falling" into the rut. The more rounded sidewalls/edge will do this a bit more gradually than the ones that are designed as right angles at that point.
It doesn't take much here to affect the way it drives a lot.......
