Default teach me Obi-wan

What would it cost me to have a guru like you give me a hand?

I am at wits end. I know everything is easier the 2nd time, but I only want to do this once, and I am running out of options. Not to mention of course that I live in Northern Alberta, I am running out of summer.
Got a phone # I can call you at? PM me if you would let me chat with you about this, please.

That sounds great, but the trouble is I have to go through dealer financing for a car that expensive, today anyway. Can you PM me a phone # for the AO vette?

Thanks for the reply, you must be originally from Montana. They are the nicest people, on a whole that I have ever met.

i will get you the guys cell phone number . he is not working today but will be there monday. it may well be a 05 also. it was about a month ago and i have seen many since then. price wise it will be less than 40k for sure. if these things have that much of a difference i better figure this border issue out and start doing what lots of whslrs are allready doing. i could make some huge $$$$ in short order with 20k a car profit sure beats the few grand a copy selling them here do other things like trucks and such have that big of spread also ?? i have lots of people from Alaska buying vehicles from me here in Portland because the dlrs there dont discount i guess. and we have had several phone calls from Canadians about weather or not we export to there so must be more than just the Corvette.

i actually was born in Vancouver, Wa. and now live in Oregon. i do however have a very good friend that lives in Montana never been there myself but everyone says its very pretty there.

Default It's done.

I found a sympathetic dealer, that in the end got me THE car I wanted in the first place. He did very well, for both of us.

check out www.swapalease.com
You can pick up a nearly new C6 under a lease , assume the lease, and then buy it at the end of the lease.

Having just imported my car from the US a month ago, I'd say it was very easy to do. 2 things made it a lot easier for me. I bought a model (2001 Coupe) that required no mods to be legal here and I got an auto transport company to handle the border and drop off the car locally at a bonded warehouse.

I did have to pay for the car up front but that's what credit lines are for and I saved $8K. There are lots of C5's in good shape selling for low 20's US right now. I would do this again in a heartbeat if the exchange rates stay the same.

I'm in Montreal,,, I know many people that have bought US cars. Yes there's a handful of paperwork but in general there was no problems. They did have to leave the car in the US and bring all the paperwork to customs. Then 2 days later they drove the car home. Could be worth that extra effort.
