Default The Ultimate Corvette Tax!

Pieces of metal, screws, and wires from Lingenfelter $66.95. UPS shipping for 8 ounces of material $14.70.

Knowing you are the most overpriced company in the world. Priceless!

You got a bargin. I ordered from !@##$ZIP#$@$# a bezel for the dash about 1"x1" plastic weight 1 oz. and they charged me $15.00 for shipping a $7.00 part. Total $22.00. I called them and they told me that was the standard shipping price. I asked why they didn't put it in a envelope and mail it for $.74 and they said they "don't ship that way".

UMMMMMM If I remember after that I bought my Corsa Touring Exhaust and X pipe from another vendor. I figured if it cost $15.00 to ship 1 oz no telling what it would cost to ship the complete Exhaust system.

Honestly I don't mind the price, the shipping is what ticked me off. If you want to charge $80 for your product then fine do it, but don't tell me it will cost you $14.70 to ship something you can throw in a First class envelope for $1.65

It would have cost you $12,798.72 to ship. A steal!

It's called a "shipping and Handling" charge. The handling is where they make a little extra something.

Are we having fun yet with Exxon/Mobil? EVERYTHING is going up do to
fuel prices. And by the way, they are NOT very careful with your stuff.

It's how they keep their "net income" down. Charge less for the product, and more for shipping. Less to report to the IRS at the end of the year. I buy books from Amazon.com that cost $.01 and the shipping is $3.50! And I know for a fact they can ship it "media mail" for under $1!

I just exchanged emails with a Forum vendor about this very subject. Excessive S & H charges burn my butt. I received an item that weighed maybe an ounce in an envelope with postage of $1.31 and he charged me $5 for "shipping and handling".

I was fortunate enough to find a vendor that supplies a 5 Gallon bucket of KY with every purchase.

I have found myself NOT ordering parts because of the S & H. What I try to do is wait till I order several parts at one time. That way I use less KY.
