Default Tigershark questions

How much was it to buy the front end and rear end? How much to paint and install? Anyone have pics of it in red?

To buy, fit, paint and install you're looking at approx. $3000

Though I don't have them, I have inspected a couple up close. The quality of fit/finish is excellent, plus they are made from OEM quality urethane, not fiberglass. They are a quality item.

Paid $749. for front end and $600. for paint and install. The fit was not perfect, body shop had to do some minor work on it and the fit at the center of the hood is off. Never heard any negatives about the T/S fit but my luck is that mine didnt fit perfect.

Got rear-ended and pushed into the car in front of me.

Turned out to be a "blessing in disguise".

Insurance paid for mine too, but I didn't like the rear, so I did this.......

$3000 sounds about right though

I love my Tiger Shark front end!

But I kept the rear stock and painted it black.

The only negative thing about the Tiger Shark front end for me is that it is a bug catcher. I don't know where they come from but if there are any bugs near an Interstate Highway, they end up all over my front end. I now carry a can or two of Pam in the rear and spray the front before a trip on the Interstate.

No, I did have to pay the price difference between the stock bumpers that were damaged and the new TS bumpers, but it wasn't much.

Then I figured while the car was in the shop, I had them install a MCM hood, which I paid for myself.

I guess it is a coincidence, but my Tiger Shark front fascia was mostly paid by my insurance company. I pulled up into a right turn lane along side of a jacked up FWD truck that was signaling a left turn from a left turn lane. He changed his mind and turned right and his right real wheel did this:

This was a week before a road trip with the Queen city Corvette Club so I did the infamous "Duct Tape MOD."

The color was a close match and you couldn't even tell from 25 feet away.

We had a great time on the trip and had the Vette fixed when we got home.

I have the rear and love it. Fit and finish is like no other. I live in Cypress TX and have not seen another on one yet and that I like the most. It gets many compliments.

Default TS Questions ...

Okay, the TS's are super-fine-fine for sure. So does the front have cooling ducts? What about intakes for Vararam or a Procharger? Does the optional chin spoiler hang lower than the stock spoiler, and if so how's the scraping on slanted entrances? On the back: Backup lights are on the inside Euros, do they also signal? Will Corsa Pacecar TS Tips fit? Sorry so many ?'s, AND did anyone DIY?

Never seen these before but they look great! Nice add, much cleaner than the stock front end.

As mentioned before, much larger ones. Everything comes with the kit.

What about intakes for Vararam or a Procharger?
The entire front grill is open to the intake. A Vararam obviously won't fit.

Does the optional chin spoiler hang lower than the stock spoiler, and if so how's the scraping on slanted entrances?
Yes, the chin spoiler hangs lower. You have to be very careful when approaching steeply angled entryways or humps in the road. I've had mine on for three years without any problems. You just have to get used to driving with it.

On the back: Backup lights are on the inside Euros, do they also signal?
They can, but a lot of guys go full Euro and add the red/amber outside lights and use the amber section for signal lights.

Will Corsa Pacecar TS Tips fit?
If you buy the Tiger Shark exhaust system, it will fit. A lot of guys just modify their existing exhaust systems. That's what I did.

Sorry so many ?'s, AND did anyone DIY?
I did everything myself except for the paint. If you can turn a wrench and have a place to work, you won't have any problems. Everything fit right out of the box, but I would still recommend test fitting both peices first, just to familiarize yourself with the way everything goes together. There's less chance of damaging your new paint.

Good luck.

Man all of your cars look great. I am sold on the rear for sure Im definitely doing the rear, im debating doing the front bumper as a tigershark or stock with added lip, im leaning more towards the c5r front look. That rear is perfect however, smooth follows the lines well and adds a rear lip, looks great. I love it in black also

Tigerharks look great.
