however the the runflats wear horribly and your mileage may vary but expect to replace them between 10-20K depending on your driving...
if you want non run-flats your choices are plenty...
and that if the car is equiped with Varaam intake you can not drive the car in the rain?
it has been proven that is not true...you cannot however drive the car thru a large puddle but then again I wouldn't recommend that with a stock Vette
I got rid of my run flat Goodyears at about 27,000 miles and I didn't have even a hint of cupping. I did however ditch the run flats for the Michelin Pilot Sports (non run flats) and I love them.
As far as your intake is concerned, I have a Blackwing. I have seen threads here on the Forum where the Vararam owners don't report the problems you are talking about. Try a search here in the Red tool bar for the intake and I am willing to bet that you won't find the problems this other "owner" is BS'ing you about. He sounds like an opinionated boob to me. "Run flats cupping"? Nah that sounds like a barge load 'o crapola to me, or an alignment problem. Quit worrying and just get the 'vette.
As far as the, North American Compliant Sticker, I believe all 'vettes are compliant according to the "build sheet" on the glove box lid. I bet that some of the other forum members can address that question.
If you have the title with you along with a signed and dated bill of sale you can drive home with that. If you rather not be bothered by the boys in blue, take the plates off your other car and use them on the vette to get it home. If the car was originally sold and titled in USA then North American complaint sticker doesn't apply to you.
thank you for the info, the car is in the USA but it will be comming into Canada, a vet is a prestige car and the more a person knows about the car , the more a person will appreciate it.
