I prefer the coupe -- I like the ability to remove the top (though I never do) and for some reason I just don't like verts. I like the way they look, I just could never own one for myself.

I share your thoughts. I have owned 2 convertibles in my lifetime and not in any hurry to own another. Nothing against them but not for me.
I really think the conertable is the nicest looking style of all, but it's just not practicle for me. Living in Florida, it just gets too hot during the bulk of the year to remove he top. The coupe does a fantastic job for me. I use the painted roof for protection from the sun in the summer and the clear roof in the winter months. If it's really a nice day, I do take the roof off. But no real often.
Love the look of verts with the top down, but not up. Love my Coupe with the options of open or nice and cozy, especially when the weather gets colder. Of course NO driving in snow.
I have to go with the coupe... top off is as good as a convertible, and the top on is better than the fixed roof.... plus more trunk room and looks bad-***...
I voted for coupe. Here are my thoughts why: Vert: I don't like a fabric top. Too freeking hot out here for one anyway. I don't hardly ever pop the top out of my coupe as it is. FRC: The only reason I kinda like the FRC is that this body style represents Z06, Performance! I always loved the fastback style cars like the 1965 2+2 Mustang. When there was a non-fastback car offered it represented the cheeper or less expensive model. Coupe: Although at times I wished I just bought a Z with all the Z performance parts I put into my car. The problem was I didn't want a standard transmission car. You have to shift (I'm getting too old ), and you have those clutch related issues I didn't want to deal with.
Yeah, I know I might get flamed here but hey these are my reasons for the coupe. Plus!!! Coupes go at least 100 mph faster than Verts and FRC's because of our more areodynamic roof line!!!

Joel - most guys are going to argue for the bodystyle that they have. Each has it's advantages, but it really boils down to personal preference.
I do love the argument however that the coupe holds more stuff....if you want a vehicle to carry stuff, buy a truck.
And then there's the distinguished gentleman from Arizona who says that coupes are 100mph faster than convertibles or FRC's......I wouldn't trust anything he tells you - ask him what wax he uses on his car!
