I found that my coupe wasn't out that far at all. Mostly more neg. camber. Toe and caster were OK. I ended up pretty much in Z06 spec.
However every car is a tad different. Some cars are more out from the factory!
For peace of mind I would just plan on an allignment. Figure out in advance what specs. you want. Print them off and give them to the guy doing the 4 wheel allignment.
Most Important! Only take your baby to a recommended Corvette allignment shop. Ask around for one.

Good Advice. Also, you will be looking for a 4 wheel alignment, NOT just a front end.

How low are you going to drop it? Are you cutting the bushings on the front with longer bolts out back? If your just cranking down the stock bolts I doubt you'll be to far out of specs.

Me too. But when I did have it done it NEEDED it. $88 tax included, 4 wheel computer alignment in the specs I gave them.

So if just lowring front and rear on stock bolts, no cutting bushes, alignment should be pretty "intact"
Any one got the linky for geomety settings?

From what I can see by SR-71's avatar pic, to match that look, you'll be putting in longer rear bolts and removing the front bolts (or maybe just cutting the bushings up front). You're talking about slamming the car there, NOT just lowering.

Glenn, you might be right. I don't really want to SLAM my vette, just looking for a more sporty look i guess. I also do not want to cut anything! I guess i'll just crank the stock bolts down and see what happens.

Get the alignment done soon! I waited a while and forgot about it. My car was a little twitchy on ruts, bumps, etc. One day I had the wheel tuned all the way in the driveway and I noticed the inside of the one tires was wasted almost to the cord!!!!!!!!!!

Got an alignment the next day and it drove perfect.

Cut bushings on the front and bolts in the back. Since this photo I've actually raised the back a hair to match the front better.

I don't think that the link is working, at least I do not see a picture of a corvette when I click it.

I'm trying to decide how much to lower my car.

Can you tell me how much gap you have between the tire to the top of the outer fender edge? Do you have significant problems with clearance when driving or in the parking lots?

Thanks.

I have 1 1/4 inch between the top of the tire and the fender. Pulling into parking lots and places that have an incline the front air damns will touch down some. You'll just have to hit them at an angle. Other than that I dont have any problems.
