What stock vehicles out there are faster than a stock C5 with an A4?

Those 4.7 #s 0-60 are probably for the 6speed. If you have a auto with 273 gears you will be slower.

Its getting to be a long list
with more on the way when a
70-k Mercedes station wangon can out run you in the 1/4 you are long overdue for a few mods. Granted it cost more than you Vette but getting spanked by a station wangon could be have you back on the therapist couch real fast

When the C5 first came out not too many. Today quite a few are pretty close and even faster. I think a lot of people don't realize the C5 came out 10 years ago
Pretty remarkable that it still runs with a lot of todays cars. I think people bragging about a brand new car as quick or quicker than a C5 should compare it to the new 436 hp LS3. It seems like 0-60 times and quarter mile times are the measuring sticks but I think how a car does in the twisties and top speed should be factored in. This would move the Vette up a bit and rightfully so.

I'll bet my vette that 1/2 of the MN6 drivers out there couldn't pull off a 4.7 0-60 run or the stated 13.2 1/4m.
People forget that these numbers are under best conditions with professional pedal pushers!!!

An auto C5 (stock) will never do 0-60 in less than 5...
