Default Any update on a Double Din Bezel?

I have seen several posts from folks wanting one but no response from TKO.

Is a double din possible?

Sorry about that. In addition to posting that question here on the forum, I get emails or a PM about it. I answer that directly. I also might have answered on another thread about our interior and the double din. I apologize for not hitting this one..

As for the double din, I don't make one yet. Its something I think we might be doing in the near future. We are setting up our shop to start more manufacturing of interior parts. Our fabricator knows about it.

HOWEVER, if you can get a unfinished double din, we can (and have) applied the finish to it.

Call me if you have any questions!
Take it ease

That Burl Wood looks lighter than I thought it was. Could it be the picture? I was hoping for a richer, darker wood color.

Hmmm.. I love the blue carbon fiber pieces. Awesome color. BUT, I wonder how well it would go with Nassau Blue? Ideas? Perhaps it would be best to go with something completely different then getting something that doesn't quite match

Looks rich to me. Looks as good as a photo of a high priced MBZ as in Designo looks.

Yes picture, monitors, play into it. They are a bit darker. If you notice, the black & the dark gray plastic parts of the interior in that picture are a little lighter then norm too. You might be able to use that as a gauge.
Give me a call. I'll go over any questions you have.

Its darker then Nassau. To give and idea of the blue, It goes real nice with the C6 LMB. It will also go nice with Electron

But to have a bit contrast is a good thing. Some do.
Then there is Silver (boom) the regular Carbon (a little less pow) and our Gun Metal (more calm but awesome).
However if you want dead on....give us the GM paint code and we got you covered. Usually runs a few bucks more. Call me to go over if you like..

Yea the burl is real nice. Pictures don't do it justice. When We did Carlise this past year, people swarmed the burl items.

Take it eez

Just ordered mine from TKO yesterday. Went with the Normal Carbon Fiber. I ordered the works. Gauges, left of steering wheel, door handle covers, front console and rear console and if all goes well I plan on sending in my rear speaker panels as well.

I will let everyone know how long it takes to get them in and then I will post pictures after the install.

Jim

I guess that's what I'm going to have to do. I really want that piece and now I see you have the section that the arm rest sits in. I was all prepared to spring for the first piece and now I have to gather some more dead presidents. Damn.

Tell me this, do all these pieces come in the same exact color (or do they come in the same exact color burl wood)?

I went to TKO performance today and met ED. He is a stand up guy and is willing to do some custom work for our C4's. I was very impressed with the actual carbon fiber parts. They all looked high quality. He can get us parts that other famous major distributors advertise in their catalogs for a lower price. Ed thanks for explaining the process on the interior parts and good luck on your venture
