Default A/C fix

If you think that your a/c clutch has failed, it may not be what it seems. My A/C failed yesterday and the clutch was not engaging. This compressor was just replpaced two weeks ago under warranty. I search for leaks and checked r134 level. all was good. Had a friend sit in the car and turn the A/C on and off same results. I touched the ground block on the right side (G104 I think) and the compressor came right on. Now the A/C blows out cold air like it should. So if your A/C clutch doesnt engage try the ground blocks. It may be corrodded.

A picture of the area you are referring to would be appreciated for future reference, just in case.

That one is on top of the frame rail between your coolant tank and the hood hinge. Look for the black object with all the black wires going into it.
Grounds are very important.

Yes what LoneStarFRC said in his post. It is located just fwd of the radiator recovery tank on the frame rail.
This is a pic of the left side but they all look alike.
