make sure the ground location on the frame rail there is good and not corroded. that's the ground point for the light as well as alot of other things.
check minifuse #2 and make sure its not blown.
if you have a multimeter then test the gounded side of the light bulb holder against ground and make sure you have a good ground. if not there's your problem, find the damaged wire or unhooked ground and fix it. make sure the lights should be on (they will timeout after a while) and check continuity between the positive battery terminal or the fuse #2 and see if you have power there. one or the other must be damaged if you know the bulb is good.
Are you sure the male/female connection on the right side beneath the headlight is made?
Many owners will disconnect that connection to keep the light off while working under the hood. It should go out after a few minutes, anyway. Trace the wire from the hood down and see if it's still connected.
