I just picked up my C5 yesterday(I'll try to post some pic's tomorrow)! It's a 1997 model and seems to be running great, but I did run into a problem with the AC on the way home yesterday. It has dual climate control and the passenger side is blowing cold air, but the driver's side just feels like the vent. I've got the temp. set at 60, but it still hasn't helped the problem. It was blowing cooler when I first got the car, but about half way through my trip I was messing around with it(turned the temp up and then back down again) and it started blowing warmer air. I figured I had just messed something up, but it is still doing the same thing after I've adjusted all the settings and everything. Also, I had noticed that it seemed to be blowing a little bit cooler on the passenger side even when I had first got the car. I called the guy I bought the car from(used car dealer) and he said it's been running fine when he drove it. He did mention it might need some freon. Also, he said if it's anything big just give him a call back and he would cover the costs. So, that's good to hear. I'm hoping it's just something simple though. Any ideas?
You probably need freon. When it gets low, it will continue to cool on the passenger side. It has to do with how the ducts are configured, the driver side duct is above the passenger side duct, warm air rises, cool air falls, etc.

I'm gonna be different and not just say add freon.
Pull the codes and see comes up... Press the "Options" button until you get a blank page (next one after Language)... hold it down and press "Fuel", 4 times... the codes will start scrolling.
Look for 0327?... it's an AC actuator on the driver's side. It's a little door that swings open and closed... when it gets stuck open, you get vent air (not cold).
Anyway, if it was freon, hurray.. if not... hope you find the cause soon.
Like I said, just trying to think outside the box... good luck.
