Ashtray creativity needed.
In light of two facts -
1. There's not much extra room in a Vette.
2. Not many people use ashtrays anymore.
Let's see your creative use of the space-wasting ashtray area. What have you got - storage, extra electronics, a surprise?

I drilled out the ashtray door and put the switches for my heated seats there. Close the door and you never see them.

I took out my ashtray and put my garage door opener in there. It fills the spot perfectly.

Same here. Seems the two most common uses are satrads and line lock/nitrous switch locations.

I've seen pics posted of all of the above. Makes sense to use that area for something.

I put my cell in there when I have a passenger. Other wise the door stay closed so my LS1 tag is displayed and the cell rides shotgun tether in place by the charger cable.

I keep my garage door opener in there, but didn't have to remove the ashtray.

Obviously one that's small enough to fit where the ashtray was.

The spare tire WILL fit in the Ashtray right next to the piston return spring. The spring goes in first though.

Nice one
I have my radar detector power supply in there at the moment but have ordered the invisible connector from Vettemods.com so once I have that installed I'll keep my garage door opener in there! Thanks for the idea!
