Default Check engine light sill on- help?

So over the weekend I took off everything from the blackwing up to the TB so that I couuld swap out the airbridge and coupler for a high-flow air bridge and smooth coupler. I didn't reconnect the air sensor that plugs into the air bridge, and got a check engine light and my mpg went from about 21 average to 8.

This morning, I re-attached the sensor to the air bridge, disconnected and re-connected the battery, and there's no change.

Could I have put the sensor in upside-down or backwards? Anything else I should check? Everything was fine until the swap.

Thanks...RX

Pull up your codes. Hose clamps or something else may be loose.

Go to their Tech section and you can pull codes up yourself without a programmer. You can also clear codes. Look for codes with a "C" (current) and/or an "H"(history).

put your key on ON then pres reset until you clear all messages that are showing on your DIC, after that hold the options button down and press fuel 4 times. you will get the diagnostic menu press reset once and then press reset and hold it down until the codes clear then turn the key off and start the car back on you will find that the check engine has disappeared and you can have your peace of mind.

but first make sure that the arrow on the air mas sensor is pointing to the engine.

hope everything is clear now.
