Winding Sound!?
I can hear a constant winding sound coming from the driver's side rear. It stays at the same pace when I speed up and continues at idle. When I shut the car off it stops. Any ideas?

Ha, guess that would help. It's a 97 model.

It's the pump. Turn up the stereo.

I'm still kind of confused where you're getting this code. An OBDII code should be in the range from 0100-1999.
I am still going to go with fuel pump. run it til it quits.

Fuel pump. It's normal to have a noisy fuel pump in a '97. Check the weights, measures, etc sticky.

Yup, fuel pump.
Take off the ds inner wheel well liner and fill the area around the fuel filler tube with insulation. Also line the outside wheel well with HVAC insulation. Should cut the pump noise and some tire whine as well. Ask Mike Mercury about this one. He's helped a lot of members including me. Good luck.
