Attempted Odometer Fraud..Amazing :(
I honestly can't believe some people these days. I had this member contact me regarding a gauge cluster. When I asked the purpose of gauge cluster exchange, his reply was:
I have the equipment to do mileage programming, but only do it for legitimate use, such as replacement due to HUD install, or broken equipment.
I hate to call out a member here, but I must say that this is wrong, wrong, wrong....Not to mention ILLEGAL. I have no interest in working with such customers, and made that clear. However, sometimes people like this won't stop at one request, and will eventually find someone to do it for them. As such, I highly recommend staying away from any cars ever sold by this member. I may take flames from this member now, or another if he changes his ID, but this is just sad.

Well Honestly?? im looking to nock 20k off the mileage i hate saying that but i hate having my vette show 40k

I totally agree with you and appreciate you for sticking to high ethical standards. There is no place for that kind of activity. Hopefully he will understand his mistake and not make any more attempts to do this in the future.

I provide the service at such a low charge to forum members to try to help them out. Others charge $300-400 for programming, I guess the money helps them sleep better at night...
