You've had your fun at ECS, now it's my turn. Differential change tomorrow from 2.73 to 3.42. See you at 9am tomorrow Chris.

Contact the ECS guys, they're running a special right now, but I don't want to speak for them.
Going from 2.73 to 3.42 is approx 25% increase of torque at the wheels, which "feels" (at launch) like a car with approx 60-70hp more.

Absolutely...... 380+ miles into the breakin. Friday back to ECS for a rear fluid change and adjust the tune. Then I can have some fun...

the price is $1495 until Labor day weekend and it will be going up after that.
$1495 is for taking out your whole pumpkin and replacing with new z06 carrier with 3.42 gears in it. We also will change your shift points so you can drive home

Sounds like a great mod, especially for the folks with the A4 tranny.

You save on labor since everything is already out for the carrier swap, easy to just swap the TC. So basically, your just paying for the material costs of the TC, plus you now need a trannie cooler, and that needs to get installed as well.
As for the larger cam, it is mostly recommended to match the stall to the cam, for best results. Is it 100% needed, no, but your not going to get anywhere near the benefits of the better cam without the stall to match.

Got home at 7pm from ECS. A great bunch of guys there. My thanks to Mark for his talents with the wrenches. Chris, thanks for the help with the rear rotors and brakes. Doug did the tune. Took pics but will have to post them tomorrow. Wayne, I have 277 miles on mine already.
