[Z06] Help Removing Headers!!!

Help Removing Headers!!!
Hey, I'm helping my brother install Kook's headers on his '03 Z06. We can't seem to break the stock headers loose from the head. Checked several times, and no bolts are left in it... All the exhaust after the headers has already been removed. Any ideas?

Another thing...
The Kook's headers are filthy inside! Full of metal shavings and, I'm guessing, coolant. I wiped them clean with a rag. Should I wash them out with hot water, or degreaser?

You know there are SIX bolts per side, right?
Also, make sure the AIR pump line is disconnected on each side (small flange w/ 2 bolts).
Also, unless you are running cats, I wouldn't worry about whatever won't just fall out from the headers from tapping them while upside down. Everything in them will be burnt off and blown out.
