does anyone know a source for a rattle can of touch up paint? I have a 99 Torch Red. I found it in the book at auto parts stores, but they only carry the little finger nail polish style cans in that color. the rattle can is listed in the book but they don't stock it and they say they can't even order it! I've been to Advance Auto, Autozone, and NAPA...I can't believe its so hard to find!
I want to do some painting to things like the front plate bracket and headlights surrounds. I might just get a body shop to do it, but they are expensive!
I would go through Gene or I got mine in Van Nuys, California through a company, sorry can't remember their name, but a lot of other people have gone through the same company that are on here, hopefully someone will remember their name.
You peaked my interest!! I would like to know where to get some of this as well. Would be a lot cheaper then a body shop like you said. Thanks for posting this.
Do you have O'Reilly's? If you don't go to the dealer, they carry DupliColor small (and some big) rattle cans - EDSGM510W Torch Red. I've got a can of it in front of me...
I also had difficulty finding Torch Red in a spray can. Local chain auto parts stores don't carry. But NAPA does have and can get it. I found a NAPA distribution center in the area that had several cans in stock. Check out NAPA's website for a customer service number. Can't buy from them direct on line but they can tell you who they shipped stock in your area.
I stopped by O'Reilly's and they ordered me two cans and they were around 5 bucks each. Good thing is that the distribution center is here in town and they had them in stock there, so I got them the next day. The dealership wanted $15 bucks for a small can, and I am too impatient to wait a week to order online.
