Default Switchback LED's back in, no hyper-flash

Aloha all,

Just finished re-installing my switchback LED’s using “SUPRFUN’s” LED flasher mod. The only thing I did different was using no-solder splices to connect the respective wires. I finally found a 3 plug/wire connector (from NAPA) to use with the new flasher and that’s what got me to pull the trigger on this mod. It was easy & works quite well with no hyper-flash. The only thing I’ve notice is the DLR lights seem a bit dim compared to standard corner bulbs & there’s a slight flicker at times that doesn’t seem related to fans coming on, etc. Again this is only noticeable with the DLR’s & not in any other mode. Any ideas? Everything else works as fragged. I’ll probably end up changing the Xenon bulbs to 4300 or 5000 (?), I don’t know, whatever it takes to better match the LED’s bluish hue… Gotta find Jdmvette’s thread again!

Ahui hou

They should not flicker, check to make sure they are seated securely in the sockets, I know I had a hard time getting one side in. And the LEDs are not as bright as the old bulb.

Also, I could not find a harness so I just used blade connectors to connect the wired to the flasher.

Just wondering which SwitchBack LEDs are your using? Are they the 48led ones?
