Hey, just got my first Corvette and want to make it look all coordinated with some new rims--it's a black 2003, and I want to get some entirely black C5 ZO6 rims (also called wagon wheels? I think?). I don't know if they've ever made them, but if they have I haven't been able to find them. I have a line on some used rims of this type, but they have a maroon band around them, and the paint is chipping. Should I buy them and get them powdercoated black? Painted black? Or is there someplace I can get actual rims like this that were painted/powdercoated/colored black when first made?

Thats a good deal and they will fit your car. I have C6 OEM's on mine as do some others on the forum.

Yeah, I know it's a good deal, and how hard it is to find wheels that fit, and I really would take them if they were C5s. I just...I dunno. Like the C5 design, I guess.

sounds like a cool ride and shouldnt be too hard to find some wheels u like... btw, the wagon wheels are the 5 thick spoke wheels that come on earlier model vettes 97-99

I have a set of what it sounds like you're looking for. C5 Z06 wheels in black. The sizes are 17x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears(C5 stock sizes)...They are brand new, still in the boxes. They have them here for $695 plus $80 for shipping:
