Light behind buttons
I was driiving my 2000 last night and realized that the light behind button 1 and 2 (Fuel and Trip?) comes on and off. Does anyone know how to remove this panel of 6 switches? Has anyone had the same issue..is it the bulb or a possible contact issue?

you can remove the instrument cluster bezel. from behind you have access to the bulbs. one may be loose.
check over this page, these are instructions on how to replace those lights with LEDs, in the process the author discusses how to access them. make sure the light is making good contact, or even replace them with LEDs!
if you want to go that route you can buy already assembled LED replacement bulbs from autolumination so you don't need to make your own if you don't want to.
