No Wayne. Allison said that her husband has Novas. Nothing wrong with that, but you know who WE think has better "car taste" in this family.
Welcome to the Forum to both of you! Very nice Vette, A Vert in my favorite color. We go to the Shenandoah Valley Corvette Clubs Skyline Drive cruise in the Spring and October 20th in the Fall in Front Royal, Va. Hope to see ya there. Of the States I've been in I think Virginia may have the best roads to date. Enjoy your car and new lifestyle.
My husband is beginning to change his ways!!! Actually, I still love his Nova's (I like to give him a hard time). He restored the first Nova with my late father and my son will inherit it. Then, of course, he HAD to buy another Nova so my daughter would not feel deprived. That's when I decided it was my turn......I knew exactly what I wanted - a convertible corvette .

That's cool Alison.... Maybe some day you can get him to buy a vette as well. My wife was a T/A fan forever but last year going to Carlisle we talked and discussed the possibility of her getting a vette. we looked at a few down there but decided to wait until we got home to continue her search. She found a great 99 coupe that we re-did it over the winter. Then this spring I moved up from a C4 to a C5 Vert.

Congrats on a gorgeous vette. My wife also recently "saw the light" and confiscated a second '02 C5 I had bought with the intention of daily-driving to work. One drive and it was officially hers. Needless to say, I am still in the market for a new daily driver.

Oh, he loves the vette. I can't get him to stop polishing it! He's already started thinking of mods .

Great pics!
Gee he sounds like me. I'm constantly coming up with new things to do to Lori's vette. Just did a complete rework of the speakers in it with a Infinity Amp, custom made (by me ) Amp Box, and a 12 inch sub woofer. She likes her music loud.....
