it's the smaller of the two correct? I opened it up and the fluid was black 
Took it out and replaced it with more dot 4 (The car has an LS7 clutch) pumped the clutch 35 times opened it back up and it was pretty much clear with some discoloration so I repeated this three times on the last time I cleaned out the reservoir itself. I'll drive the car in the am and see how it looks, I was on a pretty steep hill in San Diego and someone parked no bs less than an inch from my bumper so I slipped the heck out of the clutch to keep from rolling back and hitting him, and I could smell the clutch so i played it safe and cleaned up the fluid.
