Default Concern with vettemods.com!!

I bought a C5 Homelink visor from vettemods.com on 8-9-07. I never got any type of e-mail stating my order was taken or any shipping dates. I have sent TWO emails over the last week, one the night of I bought it 8-9 asking a few question about the product and another on 8-12-07. I still have not heard any reply. Is there something I need to know about on this vendor?? Hope all is well but I don't like spending a few hunderd dollars and never get any replys. And they don't have any phone numbers listed on their site. What do guys thing I should do at this point? Only thing I know for sure it the money is out of my Paypal account!!

Their address is listed at the bottom of the contact page. I would call every shop listed on the link below and see if any of them were willing to walk by the store and get a phone number.

I bought a homelink visor from them last year and had no problems. I don't remember exactly how long it took but it didn't seem excessive.

I bought a homelink from him last year. I happen to live in the same area, so I drove by his place and he removed and replaced my visor at no additional charge. He is a genuine nice guy. I suspect he is on vacation or wrapped up in his primary job. I am sure he will make good on your request.

Thanks for the info.. I agree he could be on Vacation or out of the office for the week.. I will give it until next week but wanted to make sure no one else was having problems with them. I did send another e-mail to his website today. Used both support and sales.. Will keep you guys posted on what happens. Thanks for the info..

Corvette1996LT1,
I hope you got my voice mail. Please PM if you did not. I do not know what happen with the previous emails, but we obviously dropped the ball. I am still around, filling orders every day.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. I strive to deliver a positive customer experience, that is what I expect and what everyone should expect when dealing with a forum vendor.

Between my buddy and I - we have ordered about six or eight full visors. Rick's stuff works great, and the workmanship is first rate.

My buddy and his wife actually got to meet Rick at SEMA last year and said he is a really nice guy. I'm glad to see he posted here and cleared up the mystery. I'm always pulling for the small vendors and hope that they can make a success out of a dream. Isn't that what made America what it is today?

Small vendors can't be like a BIG corporation. He answered my e-mails in a few days when I bought a proximity alarm from him. Obviously he now is resolving your issues. Post up when he satisfies you!!

Where is it your business is, out of curiosity? I'm by that area constantly and somehow I've missed it.
