if you had ten grand and a 01 z with 4500 mile on it how would you spend your money. i am going to buy in on the gp sc at andys but just thinking if you guys would go a nother way. thanks for any suggestions. have cai/ lg lts/ blisten shocks.

Having been the s/c route with a previous car, if it were me I'd go the heads/cam route. With $10K..... AFR heads, 224 228 cam, American racing headers system, Halltech CAI, and a tune. You'll probably have a some money left too

Depends on what you want w/ the car... a cam gives you a badass sound, but even w/ a full boogie H/C package your limited to around 500rwhp and that's w/ a huge cam and even w/ the best tune drivability won't be as good as stock, it will be managable, but not perfect.
On the other hand... a kit like A&A Vortech or the ECS Paxton setup will make 530-540 rwhp on only 7ishls of boost w/o meth. With a metch setup you can make over 600 on a stock motor (w/ headers).
When you're putzing around you get bone stock dirivability. If I wasn't into HPDEs I'd be all over a blower kit.
