electron blue with torch red
I own a 2002 electron blue / torch red c5 6 speed coupe. I visited with fastdds, a dentist from the western half of wisconsin at the EVS show saturday in Random Lake, Wi. He claims to be one of only 6 electron blue/ torch red/ white top convertibles. does anyone have any statistics of how many electron blue/torch red combo c5's were built during the 2002 and 2003 model years? I know it is a polarizing color combo - you love it or you hate it. But , in the five and a half years I have owned mine, it has been wow to me every single time I see it. I get many compliments on the car and dont see myself parting with it anytime soon.

black book listings
yes, the black book will show how many electron blue corvettes were built and how many total red interior colors were built , but it never has told us the combinations of exterior / interior colors together.
I will post some pictures after I take some new ones ( perhaps tomorrow)with digital camera and post.

Don't know of any source that will give you the exact number you are looking for. But, IMO, that is a good color combination to have.

I just picked up my baby in June, it too is a 2002 electron blue, torch red black top. The guy I bought it from said it was very rare and the original owner had it special ordered, like you said people either love it or hate it, I love it! Glad I found another one with the same color scheme.

thanks for hosting pictures. be kind, I drove home from the EVS show in Random Lake in the rain and the car has NOT been cleaned. I have seen blue red cars where the aftermarket and accessory bling is a bit much. I have limited myself to red letters in the back fascia, the red engine covers from the zo6,red lloyds mats, the engine information plate on the ashtray cover and thats about it. you may note that the red engine covers are signed by last years corvette racing drivers--- Fellows, Gavin, Berreta and O'Connell. But , my pride and joy is the signature under hood. in 2002 , my car was celebrity choice at the birthday bash -- DAVID HILL picked it!
I did not order the car, it was sitting in a dealers showroom in Slinger, Wisconsin and it was wow to me then and wow everyday in the 5 and a half years I have owned it.
