Default Dealer tire replacement

when I bought my 04 back in April from my local dealer part of what was appealing to me was that they offer tires for life on the used cars they sell. their main catch is you have to keep them maintained by rotating on a regular basis which obviously does not apply to the corvette. once the tires wear to 4/32 they will replace them with the same tire that was on them previously for free, in this case the stock GY RF's the car had 22k on it when i bought it and was nearing tires at that time. I took it back to them last week and sure enough we're there. I ask if them if I could replace them with the Michelin PS RF's. they look it up and say sure, those are actually cheaper for them. they order them in and 3 days later I've got em and like everyone on here says the difference is HUGE. much quieter. I asked if since I changed tires if now my warranty would not apply any longer and they said no get 'em down to 4/32 and you'll get new ones again. sweet. anyone else have dealers in their area that has this offer?

A Suzuki dealer here offers free tires and oil changes for life. Never heard of free tires for a vette though. Good for you.

Sounds like you bought your vette from Karl's Chevrolet in Ankeny, Iowa. That's a heck of a deal for vette owners who are going to both keep their vette and put some miles on it.

Default Good deal Run the hell out of your vette as your tires are FREE

Used to live in Bettendorf. Long b4 I got the vette. But some people in IOWA in fact I believe MOST of them seem to be a little more civil than back east. Get onto I80 and give em hell. BIGHANK

i've got that deal on my '04. just can't seem to wear these run-flats out fast enough. the catch is that you must have ALL scheduled maintenance performed at the dealership. pretty good deal for the vette considering it only needs oil changes, so far.

That's a great deal. We have some dealers that offer that program here too.

Must be a west of the Mississippi thing. Dealers east of that river won't give you the time of day, well they will but it will cost you an hour labor charge plus shop consumables!

You forgot the "environmental fee" they charge for the BS they give you.

Cheers
