Congrats on your new purchase. I agree, it's a great color combo. Nice mileage, but you still have me beat. Ours has about 5500 miles on it. I need to get it out more often. When I first looked at it I wasn't crazy about blue. Now if I were to buy another vette it will be Le Mans blue. David
If you don’t mind sharing your story give some details as to how you found it.
I have been lucky to know MANY Corvette owners over the years and have been able to purchase a few Corvettes before they were advertised for sale.
Were you looking for this specific model, or did you stumble upon it in your quest? Find it out of state over the Internet? (Again, IF you don’t mind sharing details.) I love a good Corvette story.
Car sure photographs well!!!!!!!!!
Not to hijack ... here's my story. My parents had a white vette (I believe a C3) when they were pregnant with me. And then for monetary and I guess practicality reasons they sold the vette when they had me (78). My Dad has always wanted to get his vette back and a couple years ago when his Dad passed he decided to purchase one - 2003 AE vert with 6100k on it. Then I got a chance to ride in it and take it out for a spin on a nice day with the top down and fell in love. I started looking, only wanting white vert with beige interior and 00-02 (best I could afford and had to be C5). Looked for a while and couldn't find the right car at the right price. Decided to drop the notion and didn't look for a handful of months. A few weeks ago I randomly decided to do a quick search, found one exactly what I wanted with only 6800 miles at a decent price and snatched it up the next week. And turns out the night I happened to search was the same night they decided to drop the price 2k and put it on the internet.

The End.
Great story, my dad had Corvettes when I was growing up and I knew it would only be a matter of time before I did. I remember driving back from TN where he bought his first one next to my grandparent's house. Even the dist points going bad and leaving us on the side of the road for a while wasn't enough to dampen our fun driving. My sister and mom were in a 300ZX ahead of us. Luckily the points were one of the items we got from the seller, finding that part for a 73 Corvette wouldn't have been easy in a pinch! Then another classic Vette before a new 94. Always a blast to restore & drive. Now I look forward to creating new Vette memories!!
