I used to work in downtown Long Beach near the Queen Mary on Ocean Blvd at the World Trade Center of Long Beach (Tallest WTC now).

That's a beautiful area and they have put in some nice shopping areas near the Queen Mary and Aquirium of the Pacific. I recommend visiting both if someone takes a vacation out to Southern CA.

I was stationed in Long Beach when I was in the Navy from '69 to '73. Did a tour of the Queen Mary. What a ship! Unfortunately, I had to do my cruises on a destroyer!
