Default Wheel size question????

Is it ok to run a 17X9.5 wheel up front on my 98 with the stock tires? Just want to make sure there are no rubbing issues. Thanks.

17x9 is stock. I have 17x9.5 on mine and it is fine.

17x9.5 is OEM size for C5 Z06's, 17x8.5 is OEM for Coupe and Convertibles.

Your 245/45x17 is a hair too narroww for the 9.5" wheel. It WILL work but is not optimal.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking at some wheels and don't want to go too large. Found a beautiful set that are 9.5" wide but my tires have a lot of life left in them. Don't want to buy new front ones right now. BTW, where in Bucks county are you? My sister lives in Quakertown.

Southampton, not too far from Quakertown, maybe 25 miles

Cool, hope to be up in Hershey for the show in October. Would be nice to meet other Vette members up there.
