Rat........a simple way to get around the CAGS, is to do one of two things....
First, simply run it PAST the 1-4 shift message in 1st, and then shift to whatever you want, or Second, simply run the rpm's to around 2k, and the go to 3rd, BEFORE the light comes on.......this seems to be much easier on the tranny, and engine.....no lugging at all.
Or, you can by bypass the CAGS altogether.........( wire around it).
FORCING the trannie into any gear except 4th, IF you don't do one of the above 2 items MAY damage your trans..............
